Data Analyst - Reporting Analyst - Advanced Analytics & Statistics - Victoria Your new company
HAYS Technology is currently partnering with a large financial sector organisation located in Collingwood, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint a P&C Data Reporting Analyst for their state-of-the-art office located in Collingwood, VIC. This will be a full-time permanent onsite role in their People & Culture.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture - Operations, you will be responsible for establishing relevant and meaningful reports, people metrics, dashboards and analysis to support the leadership with their decision-making and to realise their strategy and objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Effectively using HR workforce data to create, implement and continuously improve, standardised and ad hoc reports / dashboards;
- Preparing and verifying all the data and reports related to human resources and workforce with precision and timeliness.
- Supporting the organisation to optimise its human resources by understanding and leveraging the analysis of people-related data, to enable the business to achieve its strategy and objectives;
- Leading the collection, maintenance and interpretation of HR information and records, including maintenance of employee information in the payroll system.
- Providing advice and support to the P&C Division on human resource information system (HRIS) related issues; and
- Participating in a variety of P&C projects as directed by P&C leaders.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in HR or a related information system.
- Proven experience in the HR / Workforce or P&C Data Analyst role
- Demonstrated accuracy of work and exceptional attention to detail at all times;
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated experience of analysing data, preparing reports with recommendations and insight;
- Demonstrated experience in data modelling and data cleansing from various data sets to ensure the quality and accuracy of the reporting content.
- Able to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines across a diverse workload of changing deliverables;
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Strong quality orientation and continuous improvement focus;
- Able to draw data from multiple sources and use it to build a business case or "tell the story";
- Sound knowledge and experience in a workforce / human resources information management system.
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

This role offers you an annual salary of $90K - $100K PLUS 13% superannuation with an organisation's permanent employee benefits .
