Melbourne & the surrounding suburbs. Domain Health has a very knowledgeable and supportive team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working together across private & NDIS funded clients to provide goal-oriented therapy with a focus on real-life outcomes.

The Role
This role is primarily directed towards those who have relevant paediatric experience as a Speech Pathologist and are wanting to extend themselves into a fulfilling and exciting leadership position.
Our team of Speech Pathologists is growing, and will soon reach 15 therapists. We are passionate about ensuring they have lots of support, a caring environment to learn and develop in, but also strong management to assist them in becoming productive professionals.
The role involves both maintaining a clincal caseload, as well as executing management tasks, such as:
- working closely with our Speech Pathology manager to plan training by getting to know them and their learning needs
- organising Speech pathology team meetings
- taking initiative by coming up with solutions to problems which may arise
- supervising junior staff members
- supporting the team to achieve the strategic benchmarks that have been set by the leadership team
Your case load will be predominately paediatrics with some adult clients and is available in either a part-time or full-time capacity as we can be accommodating for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:
- An experienced Speech Pathologist (5+ Year’s majority paediatric experience with at least 1+ year working within Australia)
- Experience in supervising junior members of staff
-Is interested in levelling up their skill set from clinician through
- Current working with children’s check/able to apply and obtain a working with children check.
- Has a valid Australian driver’s license and access to a car
-Is a keen communicator and enjoys helping others grow (both clients and colleagues)
-Has a sound understanding of the NDIS and working within NDIS guidelines.
Additional desirable attributes are:
-Experience in a leadership position
- Experience in having additional responsibilities (outside of usual clinical responsibilities)
