Your new role
Nurture your career, providing clinical leadership and oversight to our Early Years Education Program - Kindergarten Model (EYEP-KM™) and the delivery of the School Readiness Program
- Lead and embed the EYEP-KM™ across Kids First Child & Family centres and its expansion across the universal Early Childhood setting.
- Coach and mentor, the Early Years leaders and staff to ensure high quality application of the practice principles underpinning the EYEP-KM™.
- Lead the School Readiness program, supporting the School Readiness Training Consultant to deliver a vibrant and successful program; inclusive of where necessary delivering services.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the EYEP-KM™ implementation and School Readiness Menu, reporting on the successes/constraints.
About you
- Bachelor of Education, Social Work, Psychology, Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of child development and capabilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating a quality Early Childhood program.
- Detailed knowledge of how trauma/traumatic experiences can affect the developing brain and impact on a child's learning, behaviour and relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian Education and Care Quality Authority and associated sector frameworks.
- Proven experience supporting, guiding, and mentoring staff e.g., coaching, consultation, reflective practice or facilitating group supervision.
