As a Paediatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosing childhood mental health conditions, and providing evidence-based interventions. You will work closely with children, adolescents, and their families to develop personalized treatment plans and support their emotional, social, and cognitive well-being.
Our clients clinic boasts a collaborative and supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including other psychologists, GP's, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide holistic care to patients.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, specialising in child or clinical psychology
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working as a Psychologist in a pediatric or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of child development and mental health conditions
- Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and genuine passion for working with children and their families
