The role:
- Lead and manage the production daily and benchmarks
- Lead efficiencies and maintain standards and expectations
- Plan and organise the workshop/centre to minimise risk
- Ensure high standards of WHS and compliance
- Communicate across all parts of the business including to the MD for relevant issues
- 5 years+ production or workshop supervision experience
- Experience in smash repair shop/spray painting operations including the planning, scheduling and repair processes
- Experience managing others - performance management and accountability
- Commitment to WHS including a neat and tidy workspace
- Can perform root cause analysis and understands continuous improvement process
- Excellent time management skills for this busy, modern workshop
- Excellent communication skills across all levels and with various cultures
- An eye for detail and high quality standards
- Current NSW drivers licence
- Certificate or Diploma in Management; related to Production Management or LEAN methodologies or equivalent
- Qualified trade in Spray Painting or Panel Beating
- Some evidence of maintaining or upgrading professional knowledge through education or training.
