About Us:
Let's Talk, Let's Eat is an established paediatric practice based at Aspley. Our team provide support and treatment to Private and NDIS funded clients with a range of speech, language and feeding difficulties. We have fantastic clients and great referrers from schools, allied health services and GPs. We predominantly provide clinic based services but also include a smaller number of home and school visits.
About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech Pathologist to become part of our dynamic team in a full time capacity at our Aspley office located in the Aspley Homemaker Centre. The successful applicant will have a minimum 18 months of clinical experience. For the right applicant, part time, work from home or flexi hours can be negotiated. Start date for this position is May/June 2024.
Candidates that are successful at securing an interview will be able to attend a “come and try” day at our office to engage with our team and clients.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assessing and treating children 2-14 years who have speech and language difficulties
- Working with the framework of a family and client centred practice, in our clinic, at family homes or in the community.
- Independently managing your caseload, including documentation and file management
- Supporting and inspiring your clients and colleagues.
- Engaging in weekly professional development
- A chance to learn and grow skills in the area of paediatric feeding disorder (optional)
- An oportunity to travel with our outreach team (optional)

About You:
You are an innovative, creative and engaging individual with a desire to support clients and their families, as well as contribute to the culture of learning and growth within out team.
You also possess:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
- Current Blue Card for Working with Children
- Speech Pathology Australia membership (Certified Practising status)
- Experience and/or strong interest in Paediatric speech and language, Neurodiverse Practice, ASD, and/or Pediatric feeding
- Proven ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills
