Your opportunity:
Provide intentional Peer Support and model self defined recovery strategies that support the assessment, intervention and referral of consumers admitted to an acute adult inpatient ward.
Provide consumers with education, information, referrals and support from personal experience of recovery and of utilising mental health services and non-government agencies within an inpatient setting.
This Peer Worker role will be based in the Acute Care Team, however may be required to work across portfolio's pending organisational requirements
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
