We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic People Administrator with a focus on recruitment to join our dynamic team.
The opportunity
Reporting to the People & Capability Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our team in various people functions, particularly in recruitment and onboarding processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about connecting with people, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment campaigns including posting job advertisements, utilising social media, and scheduling interviews (including international recruitment).
- Liaise with hiring managers to ensure position descriptions and advertisements are up to date
- Maintain the applicant tracking system and other recruitment databases, and ensure the integrity of all records
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to team member
- Generate contracts of employment and manage other onboarding requirements
- Create and maintain accurate people records in our HRIS
- Manage the people inbox and delegate enquiries
- Support People and Capability initiatives and projects
- Collaborate with the Business Services team to foster a positive work culture and team member experience
- Ensure streamlined and efficient processes are maintained
About you
To succeed in this position, you are a team player and someone who thrives in a fast-paced role. You’re a strong communicator, enjoy building rapport with both internal and external stakeholders, and have excellent organisational skills. You are detail-oriented and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
You will bring the following
- Qualification in human resources.
- Proven experience in people administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in operating in agile medium/medium-large sized business.
