What you'll do:
As the Manager of People Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of advisors, providing consistent and high-quality advice to managers and team members across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of People Operations & Advisory, you will be responsible for enhancing and embedding the Advisory model, leveraging technology to deliver services, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as People & Capability, Technology, and Legal.
Utilising your expertise in People Advisory leadership and employee relations, you will confidently guide, mentor and develop your team to ensure compliance with policies. You will oversee employee relations matters and provide Tier 1 support for queries related to the employment lifecycle, entitlements and Award and EA interpretations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of centralised generalist advisors to ensure the provision of consistent and quality advice across Tier 1 people queries.
• Embed and manage an Advisory model through improved technology and processes.
• Drive best-in-class service delivery, ensuring the team has the right skills and capabilities to meet business goals and legal obligations.
• Track measures of customer service, collaborating with the broader People team for a seamless experience.
• Support the development and rollout of cyclical People activities.

What you'll bring:

• In depth experience with employee relations issues and cases.
• Strong expertise in working with or leading teams in advisory services preferred.
• Pragmatic coaching and support on Tier 1 people queries, including EBA, modern award, and National Employment Standards interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology for process improvement and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability build relationships across all levels.
• Ability to work at pace within a high volume environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in business or human resources.
