Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for Banking, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, including transaction posting, reconciliations, supplier payments, debtor collections and reporting.
Working within a friendly team, this role provides the support you need to ensure you succeed.
About the Role
- Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in the business.
- Perform reconciliation on all bank accounts daily, transaction posting and debtor allocations.
- Process daily credit card reconciliation and transaction postings.
- Back up support for Customer Service Phone / Door answering / Customer Order taking.
- Prepare month end close supplier accruals.
- Post Cafe daily electronic takings; count, arrange deposit of and post monthly cash takings.
- Development and maintenenance of policies and procedures.
- Database management - Ensure debtor files are continually maintained and kept up to date.
About You
- Strong accounting systems knowledge.
- Preference of a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Teamwork in a small to medium company environment.
- Bookkeeping qualifications will be well regarded.
- Fast learner, adaptable, with high data accuracy and excellent time management skills.
