About the Role:
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term opportunity based from our Melbourne or Hobart office, with the flexibility to work from home, we love enjoying the best of both!
You’ll work closely with your People & Experience colleagues to proactively support leaders and employees across our business and across all aspects of the employment lifecycle with a focus on employee relations.
As a skilled people & culture practitioner with experience managing a broad range of people matters you are confident engaging, guiding and influencing leaders at all levels to achieve commercial, people focussed solutions.
You’ll join a talented and supportive team, moving seamlessly between coaching and advising leaders, guiding high performance, investigating people matters, resolving issues and supporting operational human resource activities. This role supports teams based in Melbourne and Hobart who embrace and value flexible working.
About You and Your Experience:
We’re seeking a values driven, commercially minded People and Culture professional with a track record of positively impacting performance and Culture.
Your experience and skills will include;
- A background in HR business partnering or HR advisory
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations case management (e.g. relating to performance management, disciplinary actions and grievances)
- The ability to make rational and sound decisions based on consideration of the facts and the alternatives, sometimes with incomplete information
- A solid track-record of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable switching between independent and collaborative work
- A high standard of ethical behaviour which promotes a positive workplace culture and is consistent with our values and ways of working
