As an Innovation Technician based at our Bairnsdale, East Gippsland site; you will be a crucial team member within our Research and Development department. This role works within the team responsible for:
- Developing and commercialising product formulations for Patties Foods.
- Working with our procurement and operations teams on costs for existing products and ingredients.
- Working with engineering and production to develop solutions to production issues, while maintaining food safety.
- Advising and training our production team on changes and implications of modified recipes.
- The ability to engage, interact and communicate with a very diverse working group is key, you must be personable, willing to listen and build strong relationships.

- Qualifications in Food Technology/Pastry Cook/Baker or similar.
- Good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management.
- Experience in a food manufacturing facility highly desirable.
- Project Management experience and able to efficiently prioritise work.
- Sound computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work within a team.
- Must be flexible to work varying hours where necessary.
- Must have full Australian work rights.
- Must hold a current Drivers Licence.
