About the Role
As the OHS Advisor you will provider expert advice, assistance, and support to staff, take responsibility for developing and implementing policy and strategy in a team environment to proactively prevent and manage occupational injuries and illness amongst members. Your remit will cover support across all occupational health and safety matters, workers compensation, occupational rehabilitation, return to work and Work Cover matters. In addition, you will also support the team assisting with the coordination and delivery of the OHS Training Program, conferences and seminars, including WorkSafe Approved Health and Safety Representative training.
About You
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts in a simple way
- Proven track record of delivering on safety initiatives that have a real impact
- Relevant qualifications in work health safety or a related discipline
- Ability to engaging and be able to present to leaders and frontline alike, able to build credibility quickly, and influence partners across your portfolio
