Your new role
You will act as the focal point for all people-related matters for your assigned portfolio areas and will support these areas across all People and Culture advisory and operational services. You will establish trusted and influential relationships with the Senior Leadership Team, managers and employees at all levels, providing expert People and Culture consultation and advice. Your role will have a People and Culture generalist focus, managing people-related activities across the employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding and supporting employee wellbeing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Current Northern Territory driving licence
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Qualifications in Human Resources and/or relevant experience
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work independently and flexibly
- Demonstrated knowledge of current employment and industrial relations legislation, local government legislation and awards
- 6 weeks of annual leave
