Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the People & Culture Manager will spearhead all HR operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and policies for our medium-sized enterprise on a national scale. This pivotal role requires hands-on experience in streamlining inductions, maintaining contracts, and upholding various HR requirements while actively mitigating risks associated with HR-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR operations, aligning them with national legal and policy standards
- Ensure streamlined inductions and update contracts and agreements as required
- Collaborate with the COO to implement and execute HR policies and work processes
- Actively manage and mitigate risks related to People and HR issues
- Work closely with the COO to support and execute people culture and training/development initiatives
- Serve as the expert in HR legal matters, keeping the business updated and assisting in HR-related issues
- Manage a professional staff cohort, supported by administrative and technical personnel
Requirements:
- Extensive HR experience in a medium- large sized enterprise on a national scale growing to global scale.
- Proficiency in navigating legal and policy requirements related to HR
- Strong ability to think strategically while also executing hands-on HR functions
- Demonstrated experience in risk management related to HR matters
- Proven capability to support and execute COO-led people culture and training/development initiatives
