While they support our customers, it is our role, in the People and Culture Team, to support them.

About the role

As the People and Culture Officer, you will support our people throughout the employment lifecycle, assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, employment documentation, employee compliance, performance management, HR advice to management and employees and work with the Chief People Officer on People and Culture projects…. just to name a few.

A key responsibility, however, is to conduct staff NDIS, Child Safety, Team Leader, and House Leader inductions. The comprehensive induction sets our employees up to be successful in their role, provide the highest quality support and ensure Aspire Hub are compliant and meet legislative requirements. The NDIS inductions are usually held two days per week and additional days for Child Safety and position specific inductions as required. To ensure the training is constantly updated, you will liaise with Management and make necessary changes to training content.

About you

As the People and Culture Officer role is varied, you have relevant HR qualifications, are a true HR generalist with experience in all aspects of the HR function, have exceptional communication and work with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

You have the ability to interpret awards and an understanding of industrial relations and employment legislation.

Ideally you will have a certificate IV in training and assessment to support the training element of the position.

Requirements of position

• Diploma of Human Resources or higher relevant qualifications
• Ideally you will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• NDIS Worker Screen
• NDIS Orientation Module
• Queensland Blue Card
• Police Check
• Experience in a HR Generalist position
