About the role:
The People and Culture Officer purpose is to support the People and Culture Manager in recruitment and selection, onboarding, learning and development, and engagement of staff, keeping their required skills updated and aligned to the organisational needs to achieve the strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure availability of skilled workforce through being responsible for carrying out designated, mandatory or discretional training l as directed by the People and Culture Manager and based on the Annual Training Plan
- develop training resources to ensure training needs are met.
- Coordinate and administer recruitment and selection process, and participate in key interviews as required by People and Culture Manager.
- Coordinate and conduct the staff onboarding program.
- Coordinate staff participation initiatives to promote wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and engagement.
- Support Managers to develop and implement development plans for key staff.
- Any other duties within the scope of skills, as directed by the People and Culture Manager.
About you:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working on obtaining this qualification.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, Training and Assessment or related positions.
- Previous experience in developing learning materials and solutions to address identified gaps is desirable.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and comfortable to work in fast-pace environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Autonomous and team player worker
- Resilient, proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach and mindset.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong, respectful and effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, to foster collaboration.
