ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Business, the People and Culture Specialist plays a key role in building and coordinating the HR and Culture functions within the College.
Responsibilities include
- Managing end to end recruitment and on-boarding,
- Facilitating and supporting managers with employee performance related matters,
- Providing professional advice
- Ensuring quality and compliant HR and Culture practices which align with the mission and values.

Skills and experience required:
- Experience in facilitating end to end recruitment and selection processes
- Good understanding of the Fair Work Act, MA000076 Education Award (preferred), NES, enterprise bargaining and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of HR systems such as Martian Logic.
- Ability to set and deliver meaningful and reporting HR metrics,
- Understanding of RTW and the WorkCover framework
- Experience with managing staff performance issues
- Ability to develop policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office excel, word, and social media platforms
- Experience in a similar role.
- Qualification in HR (preferred)
- Experience the TASS education system (preferred)
- Previous experience in an educational (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to share the overall vision and help the school pursue its God given charter.
- A personal alignment and ownership with the school's ethos and faith position demonstrated by an active personal faith and church involvement.
