Your key responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with clients on a wide range of human resources matters, maintain a positive client service approach.
* Process forms relating to Crown Law's human resource activities.
* Develop, maintain and regularly update databases and registers.
* Maintain Crown Law's personnel records t and ensure staffing information is up[1]to-date.
* Ensure a high level of accuracy in all documentation and record keeping.
* Assist in the implementation of professional training and development programs.
* Provide advice and guidance to clients and staff on human resource management directives, policies and practices.
* Assist with the preparation of reports and other requests for statistical information.
* Contribute to team projects and initiatives as required.
* Undertake the continuous improvement of work practices and processes.
* Adherence to the principals and practices of equal opportunity, confidentiality and workplace health and safety.
* Provide assistance and support for a range of recruitment and selection processes, including developing and updating role descriptions and recruitment related activities such as criminal history checks, employment commencement paperwork and appointment processing.
* Liaise with Queensland Shared Services (QSS) to ensure employees are appointed and paid correctly and establishment changes are actioned in an accurate and timely manner.
* Assist with the development and delivery of HR training and the preparation of informative communication, promotional resources and other related documentation for the Crown Law intranet and website.
* Facilitate induction of new starters where required.
* Undertake other duties as required.
