Our Fuels & Energy East line of business are searching for their next Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. This position is responsible for providing a range of operational support and administrative services to the People and Culture Business Partners and People and Culture Manager. This position supports the People & Culture function in meeting operational requirements and the successful delivery to our operational stakeholders.
About the role
- Works closely with the People & Culture Business Partners in performing key responsibilities
- Identifies areas for improvement in relation to their role and raises these opportunities with the appropriate People and Culture Business Partners for continuous improvement to systems and processes
- Transactional support for all onboarding and offboarding activities for all employment contracts within the portfolio – including drafting and issuing of Contracts of Employment, and maintaining payroll and HR systems to reflect changes
- Preparation and maintenance of employee files including document control
- Respond to enquiries, referring matters to the appropriate People and Culture or Recruitment team member where required
- Provide support for the annual organisational development calendar of events
- Providing data reports on upcoming requirements to Business Partners or the Manager regarding performance reviews, probationary periods and similar
- Facilitation of onboarding and off-boarding transactions including issuing of Inductions and Exit surveys
- Drafting of letters including Confirmation of Employment, Jury Duty exemptions, etc
- Assist with regular reporting on various People and Culture metrics
- High volume of casualised workforce processing and onboarding for Fuels & Energy East projects and shutdown workforce
- Previous experience in an Administration role
- Previous experience in a HR / P&C team preferred but not essential
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office – Excel preferred
- Methodical and organised approach to work
