The Fuels & Energy East line of business are seeking interest from People & Culture Business Partner's / HR Advisor's to join our team based in either Gladstone or Brisbane QLD. In this role, you will truly partner with the operational stakeholders to ensure People & Culture deliverables are exceeded while delivering effective, high quality and accurate advice to managers and employees, and to support the business to achieve operational objectives.
About the role
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key personnel within your portfolio
- P&C Business Partnering role focusing on strategic outcomes and operational solutions
- Work closely with the P&C Manager to provide support and guidance around the people strategy; retention, talent profiling, succession planning, workforce planning, performance review and remuneration planning
- Support and mentor colleagues within the team
- Provide timely and accurate P&C / IR / ER advice to managers and employees on a range of P&C issues including performance management, retention initiatives, organisational change, and a range of employment and employee relation matters
- Lead and support the P&C component of project setup including the mobilisation process and ensure P&C project deliverables are met
- Tertiary qualifications in HR / IR or a related discipline mandatory
- 5 years plus working within P&C; with exposure to HR generalist, stakeholder management, IR and organisational capability
- Ability to work independently, to organise and prioritise demands, to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- The ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Ability to engage with stakeholders in a proactive manner to provide strategic Business Partnering solutions
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
