An exciting start up which is offering something different in market and has seen rapid growth in the last 5 years. They are planning to double in size in the next 12 months are now seeking a People & Culture Manager to join them to cover a Mat leave 10 - 12 month fixed term contract starting in June.About the Role
This is an all encompassing HR generalist role that will see you managing a team of two and working closely with the founders and also the leadership team, which you will be part of.The environment is very fast paced and dynamic. The current People & Culture Manager has developed a lot of the policies and strategies however there is still a lot that needs to be done and the this is not a role that you will be just care taking. You will be given full autonomy to continue developing the strategy to ensure that the growth happens over the next 12 months.You will be involved in developing policies, managing complex ER issues, recruitment of senior positions and developing retention strategies etc. In this role you will provide guidance and leadership, fostering an environment of growth, development and performance.About You
You will have a broad HR generalist background with exposure to the full gamut of HR, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.We are seeking candidates who have proven HR experience, ideally managing a small team and with working knowledge of Australian employment legislation.Previous experience within a start up environment would be beneficial however experience working within fast paced SME's will also be considered.
