Role OverviewThe People and Culture Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the General HR, Performance and Culture activities across all areas of the Habitat Creations business. Reporting to the
General Manager, and working closely with the Division Managers, you’ll offer advice, strategy and support to ensure compliance with relevant employment law, the recruitment and retention of high-quality candidates, and the proactive management of training and certification requirements. Main Duties
- End-to-end recruitment including job advertising, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks and the execution of employment contracts.
- Onboarding and assisting Division Managers with Inductions
- Termination and Offboarding
- Performance Management (with support from the
General Manager)
- Employee Records Management (Employment Hero)
- HR Systems Administration (Employment Hero)
- Managing Staff Training and Certification Requirements (Employment Hero)
- Monthly Reporting
- Engaging with Division Managers on people issues
- Provide general advice to the management team about HR matters
- Preparing and updating HR & employment related documentation including contracts, position descriptions, induction and employee handbook etc.
