Iceni are seeking a self-motivated People Manager with an HR background.
You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the people in our organisation, which involves providing oversight, direction and support across all operational functions as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will be responsible the Human Resources function and will help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
This is a part-time role which is expected to be approximately 24 hours per week within office hours but as suited to your needs.

Iceni provide management consulting services to clients in the Government, Not for Profit and For Purpose sectors relating to defining, establishing and delivering complex programs and projects across three core business streams: project development, project integration and transformation. We’re a small firm (currently 15 employees) handling some very large projects. Our team are given absorbing, challenging roles, shaping projects and organisations delivering public good outcomes.

About you
To be considered for the role, you will have the following attributes:
- Permanent resident visa status or Australian citizen
- Degree qualifications and/or well-developed industry expertise in comms / HR or similar
- Minimum 5-10 years' prior experience in HR function
- A self-motivated energetic, strong and empathetic personality with the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organisation
- Can do, proactive attitude
- Collaborative manager of back office team (2 other PT team members)
- Adept at handling sensitive information in a commercial environment
- Excellent multi-tasking & organisational skills with accurate attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to be adaptable and manage time between competing priorities
- Microsoft Office skills especially in Word, Excel
- Experience with project management tools desirable
- Prior experience working within a consulting organisation beneficial
Iceni responsibilities
Our operations team support one another across the week, each working part-time hours with their own remits and covering for others in case of absence.

- Managing a seamless end to end employee experience
- Recruitment – attracting talent through managing the recruitment process including release of job descriptions to market, collation of responses, set up of interviews, and candidate correspondence
- Contract management and onboarding
- Setting hiring procedures & setting training standards
- Workforce planning & management
- Manage the delivery of the employer of choice program
- Focus on supporting the development of people's talents
- Support workplace coaches in their roles
