With a sense of community, we offer critical financial and legal products and services including Will Writing, Powers of Attorney, Executor Services, Trustee Services and Personal Financial Administration.About the RoleState Trustees is seeking a People & Performance Business Partner for a 4-month contract. This role is essential for providing strategic advice, implementing initiatives, and enhancing people leader effectiveness in an enterprise agreement-driven environment. You will support business operations by aligning them with people and culture strategies, managing employee cases, and building leadership capabilities.A key focus is to foster a constructive culture, improve employee experiences, and promote a performance mindset. The role involves collaboration to develop our people and embed a performance-driven culture across State Trustees. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc HR advice and assist the HR Coordinator with administration support as needed.Skills and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources/business or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a people and culture professional.
• Strong ability to provide strategic advice, develop options, make sound judgments, and solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to build highly effective working relationships by establishing credibility, respect, and rapport with both internal and external networks.
• Excellent influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to challenge people, situations, and current thinking creatively and effectively.
• Clear, concise, and influential written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in other areas of HR to manage workload peaks and cover for colleagues as needed.
