Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, we are now searching for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team and help us shape the future of BOUNCE.

As our People & Culture Business Partner you will play a vital part in partnering with the business, providing ‘hands-on’ support across the employment lifecycle. You will be a go-to person, helping solve employee puzzles, building venue leadership’s HR muscle, ensuring smooth sailing with policies and compliance matters, making onboarding a breeze and most importantly helping further our efforts to build an engaged, committed and passionate workforce that delivers on our mission, purpose and management mantra.

What about the role?
The role will play a key role within the People and Culture team with responsibility for the following areas:

  • Employee Relations Champion - Be the friendly, helpful face people turn to for resolving workplace issues. Support managers in addressing grievances and undertaking investigations.
  • Learning & Development Advocate – Develop and implement training programs that inspire and empower our team (in consultation with the Training Manager).
  • Compliance Guru – Keep us on track with people related policies and procedures being a go-to expert in people compliance matters, as well as award/ EBA interpretation.
  • Organisational Change Agent – Lead and support the team through organisational change initiatives with enthusiasm and innovation.
  • Employee Lifecycle Supporter – Support the recruitment process from start to finish, finding the best talent to join our amazing team, make onboarding a delightful experience, welcoming new hires with open arms and manage probationary review processes.
  • Systems and Reporting Wizard – Take a leading role in the management and improvement of HR systems and reports, utilising data to support decision making around future people initiatives. Supporting the implementation of new enhanced systems.
  • Culture Ambassador – As with every member of our P&C Team, foster a positive and inclusive culture where everyone loves to come to work.

This role is perfect for a strong team player, and someone that operates well with independence and autonomy to achieve results. The role is ideally suited for someone with the following:

  • Formal qualifications in Human Resources and proven experience in a generalist P&C function - essential.
  • Strong ability to interpret employment legislation and communicate in a digestible format.
  • Strong propensity to automate and systemise, without overregulating.
  • Outstanding communication skills, and an ability to deliver messages succinctly and with purpose.
  • Promote good morale, positive disposition, personable communication style and respect for others.
  • High degree of proficiency with a suite of Microsoft Office Products
  • Proficient in drafting, comprehending, and responding to various forms of internal and external communications.
