About the role

We are currently recruiting for a People Services (HR) Coordinator to join our People Services team in Perth that provides Australia wide support to the business relating to Human Resources systems, policies and procedures across the areas of employee lifecycle. This  9 month fixed term contract role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating the on boarding of new starters and transfer of current employees within the business including facilitation of pre-employment checks, client approvals, inductions, relocations and employment contracts and project specific mobilisation requirements.
  • Provide first level Human Resource policy advice and interpretation to Employees.
  • Assisting with offboarding and termination processes.
  • Act as first level support for all HR related systems enquiries and assist the HR Technology team with key activities.
  • Ad hoc HR administration duties as required.
  • Maintain privacy obligations and confidentiality

About you

  • At least 2 years' experience in a HR Coordination position ideally working within the engineering, rail, or construction industries. 
  • Qualification related to HR or working towards one is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience using a HR Management database is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills and be motivated to plan and meet agreed priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in documents/ systems.
  • A customer focused attitude with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-organised and motivated to complete work to deadlines.
