Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the role
Together with the requirements of the role description, our ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Collate and critically analyse financial and performance data to identify opportunities for service improvements, new and revised services, and prepare recommendations to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and DMN leadership teams.
- Prepare performance reports and dashboards pertaining to DMN's digital services, including the capture, analysis, and presentation of DMN performance information to governing bodies in support of the Information Communication & Technology (ICT) investment decision making process and alignment with Metro North Health and DMN reporting obligations.
- Facilitate and drive continuous improvement activities within DMN with an emphasis on improved investment performance and cost saving strategies and initiatives, including the development and maintenance of activity-based costing, chargeback and show back models.
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in querying and merging large data sets using data interrogation tools and techniques with the ability to summarise, interpret and communicate complex data sets in a non-technical way.
- Three or more years' experience in the development and of analysis of financial and performance data and reporting in a complex service delivery organisation.
- Proven highly developed research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to drive a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members to support the successful support of performance and financial reporting across DMN with the ability to research situations and challenging issues to develop options, strategies, and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
