Here is an opportunity for one lucky person to start their career as a Performance Engine Builder whilst completing an apprenticeship in Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)Our client, a highly respected family owned & operated business located in Wodonga, Victoria is looking to add an apprentice to their highly skilled team.The RoleIn this exciting role, you have the potential to learn all aspects of the business from Turbo Repairs, Tailshaft Modifications, Automotive Machining, Dyno Test & Tuning, Hi-performance Engine Re-Builds to Heavy Diesel Engine Reconditioning.

• The successful candidate will complete a qualification in Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 4 years.Experience and TrainingEssential:

• A willingness to develop skills and knowledge in this trade

• A commitment to undertake and complete formal training through the RTO/TAFE

• The ability to listen and follow instructions and ask for help when needed

• A willingness to undertake paid employment in your chosen trade

• The desire to make a positive contribution in the workplace

• A commitment to workplace safety

Desirable:

• Work experience in chosen trade

• Completion of a relevant VET or Pre-Apprenticeship course
