South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking suitably qualified candidates for the role of Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) Worker. As a member of the Primary Mental Health Team (PMHT) the PEHP Worker supports the psychological and mental health of women and families.
Working closely with a range of care providers involved in a consumer's perinatal care, offering short to medium term episodes of care to women and families impacted by mental and psychological health concerns during the perinatal period.
Position overview
- Fixed Term (12 month Parental Leave), Part-time (64 hours per fortnight), commencing February 2024.
- Warrnambool Campus
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 3, Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Salary Range: $97,650.80 - $115,566.00 pro rata, plus superannuation

You would have:
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 3, Clinical Nurse Specialist (as defined by the selection criteria)
- Ability to relate to a wide range of persons and professional groups.
- Experience in treatment interventions appropriate to perinatal anxiety and depression.
- Experience working with mothers and babies.
