SalaryThe Pharmacy Department at the Princess Alexandra Hospital are looking for a Senior Perioperative Pharmacist to join their team. This pharmacist is responsible for providing senior clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Preadmission Clinic and Perioperative areas of the Princess Alexandra Hospital. In addition to a focus on pre-surgical review clinics, this role may include covering areas such as the Surgical Care Unit and Operating Theatres.

About the Role
- Delivering high quality evidenced based Perioperative Pharmacist clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality pharmacist services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
