ABOUT THE ROLE:
Skillset is seeking a motivated and results-driven Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our team. As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and placing top-tier candidates across a variety of industries and disciplines.
As a member of the Recruitment Team, the Permanent Recruitment Consultant will assist to develop and grow a client and candidate base through the provision of a professional, quality focused end to end recruitment service for the placement of Permanent staff.
The purpose of this role is to provide recruitment solutions as a member of our growing Permanent Recruitment business. Focused on resourcing and filling permanent roles for a client base extending across a broad range of industries, the Recruitment Consultant will implement effective candidate recruitment and management techniques designed to expand our candidate pool. The Permanent Recruitment Consultant will also concentrate on professional client management practices focused on providing a supply of quality candidate to our clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive candidate searches through various channels, including advertising on job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, through taking comprehensive job briefs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
- Screening and interviewing candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and suitability for specific roles.
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client engagement to candidate placement.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation and negotiation of job offers.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share market insights, best practices, and recruitment strategies to achieve team goals.
- An eye for detail, managing associated compliance paperwork and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Previous experience as a Permanent Recruitment Consultant or similar role, preferably within the recruitment industry.
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates.
- Proficiency in using CRM and online platforms for candidate sourcing and management.
- Class C Drivers license
- Paid Employment WWCC
- Willing to travel within the Central West to service our clients and candidates
