AddressAn exciting position has become available within one of Melbourne’s prime inner eastern municipals for a Permits and Appeals Officer to join their friendly team on a contracted basis.
Some of your responsibilities will detail the support for the Permits and Appeals sector with administrative duties; however, your opportunities are endless with a wide variety of compliance and Local Laws that you will be able to sink your teeth into.
You will also:
Assist and administer permits, animal registration and infringement reviews
Administration of compliance activities in accordance with Local Laws
Process of infringements through the enforcement and resolution process
Ensure that the database is accurate, clean, and up to date
To be successful for this position, you must:
Provide a sound understanding or the ability to gain knowledge of the relevant Acts, Regulations and Local Laws which relate to the Department
Ability to interpret required legislation
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Have demonstrated experience within customer service and administration
Have experience in a regulatory/enforcement position is preferred
