Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Personal Assistant to join our team at our Wadhurst team in our South Yarra campus.
The Personal Assistant is primarily responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Head of Wadhurst. This position also supports the work of the Wadhurst Reception. The Personal Assistant is a key point of contact for students, parents and staff at Wadhurst.
This is a full-time ongoing position from Monday to Friday, during school term time only*, and is based at the School’s South Yarra campus.
*Also includes 3 days before start of Term 1, 1 day before start of Term 2, 3 & 4 and 3 days at end of Term 4.

Wadhurst is Melbourne Grammar School’s purpose-built middle school learning community for boys in Years 7 and 8. Wadhurst specialises in educating 12 to 14 year olds by addressing the transition from childhood to adolescence. The School is located at our South Yarra campus and is attended by approximately 400 boarders and day boys.
You will
- Provide the Head of Wadhurst with confidential secretarial, clerical and administrative support.
- Manage the diary for the Head of Wadhurst, including setting up meetings, distributing meeting papers/presentations, and coordinating follow-up appointments, meetings and reminders.
- Support Wadhurst reception with various stakeholders, answering calls, mail and other deliveries.
- Collate and distribute agendas, and take the minutes for various meetings, including Wadhurst Executive, Wadhurst Curriculum Committee and weekly Staff Briefings.
- Provide administration assistance to Wadhurst staff as needed.
- Provide initial First Aid assistance for students as required, liaising with the School’s Health Centres.
