Role Description
With immediate start dates available, you can jump right into casual shifts that offer the potential to become permanent part-time positions for the right individuals. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being. The role includes tasks such as assistance with personal care, household tasks, social activities, capacity building, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and community access.
Qualifications
- Experience as a support worker, with strong interpersonal skills
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support
- Full Vaccinated (Covid19)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Full Working rights, Australian driving license and own insured car under your name
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- NDIS screening check, First Aid certificate, CPR and working with children's check
- Reliable phone with data
- Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting other
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to follow company policies and procedures
