The Role
As Legal Practice Manager your duties will include:
- Recruit, manage, coach and mentor all team members, completing performance reviews and personal and professional development plans to build solid capability and behaviours and drive a high performing culture aligned to firms values, where relevant in collaboration with the Practice Support Lead;
- Partner with the marketing team to build external relationships and lead business development initiatives to increase market share of the firm;
- Drive the financial performance of the office with a focus on exceeding annual targets, ensuring KPI's are set and targets are met or exceeded related to effective time recording, productivity and recoverability, minimising net WIP write offs;
- Actively build strong internal and external relationships and proactively coach and mentor junior authors, fee earners and administrative team members, contributing to training and development initiatives as required;
- Actively participate in community affairs, local law associations, local legal centres and media requirements aligned to the firms strategic marketing objectives;
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancements of legal precedents;
- Identify strategic opportunities to enhance the firm's brand through various external channels including media and industry events; and
- Maintain general duties as Personal Injuries Solicitor.
About You
If you're a motivated individual with:
- 10+ Years PAE;
- Experience in Personal Injuries or litigation;
- Autonomy and the ability to seek assistance when needed;
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional drafting skills;
- Effective communication and workload management skills; and
- A stellar team player attitude.
