LOCATION:
Located in the heart of Tullamarine, only 3kms from Westfield Airport West and 7kms from the Essendon Fields precinct, we have a brand new and modern head office with a cafe-style kitchen.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Petraveller has an exciting opportunity to join our Ground Operations team for 15 hours weekly.

Will you thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing requirements of our clients and airline schedules?
We are looking for an energetic individual with a positive attitude, who is passionate about pets and people, and physically fit to handle a variety of sizes of dogs and cats.
As a Petraveller Pet Concierge, you will deliver our Melbourne metropolitan ground operations, meet our clients at their homes, and transport pets during the first stage of their travel journey.
You will liaise with our vet, government, pet hotel and airline partners, manage travel documentation and permits for pet departures with precision, and prepare pets for flight and lodge them at the airport for air travel.
An immediate start is available with comprehensive training.
ROLE TASKS:
Supporting our Ground Operations team, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely handle pets in accordance with company procedures
- Collect pets from customer residences within the Melbourne metro
- Complete veterinary consultations and government appointments
- Check pets in and out of our pet hotel
- Prepare and lodge pets for flight travel
- Transport any off-loaded pets to our pet hotel
- Prepare travel documentation and permits for pet departures
- Communicate with clients over the phone and face to face
- Complete office-based administration duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Professional pet handling experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously against a schedule
- Knowledge of Melbourne's metropolitan area
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
- Clean drivers history and full license
