About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pharmacist to join our Toronto team. As a vital member of our pharmacy, you will play a key role in delivering expert pharmaceutical care, supporting our patients' health goals, and contributing to the success of our business. Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling and education to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote positive health outcomes.
- Conduct medication reviews and assessments to identify and address any medication-related issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Participate in pharmacy programs and services, such as vaccinations, health screenings, and medication management initiatives.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming and supportive pharmacy environment.
- Stay informed about new developments in pharmacy practice, medications, and healthcare trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based pharmaceutical care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and computer literacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts. Must have Friday and Saturday availability.
