About the role: 

As a Clinical Pharmacist at Belmont Hospital, your daily responsibilities will primarily involve working within various wards, including medicine, surgery, coronary care, and sub-acute units. You'll have extensive face-to-face interactions with patients, addressing medication concerns and ensuring their therapeutic needs are met. Collaborating closely with both medical and nursing teams, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising patient outcomes. This role demands a proactive approach to patient care, where your expertise in medication management is essential.

Requirements and additional information:

  • Proof of eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration agency, Pharmacy. Must be able to demonstrate fulfilment of the criteria for grade 2 pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award.
  • We are unable to accommodate visa sponsorship for applicants requiring a visa for this position.  
  • Casual opportunities may be available for recommended applicants.
