- This is a fast paced, team environment so proven interpersonal skills are required.

What does a Pharmacy Assistant do?
Our Pharmacy Assistants are often the first port of call when customers come into a TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy. You will be responsible for sales, top level customer service and giving advice on over the counter medicines where appropriate. At TerryWhite Chemmart, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest level of service in all aspects of our pharmacies, and our Pharmacy Assistants act as shining examples of this philosophy.
What’s required to be a Pharmacy Assistant?
We’re looking for someone with great attention to detail and an eye for merchandising. You will need strong communication skills and an ability to execute exceptional customer service on a consistent basis. A Pharmacy Assistant should have experience working as part of a team and, because there are so many different things to do, it’s important you can multi task. The successful candidate will have a happy and positive demeanour.

Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Maintain the presentation of the store and service areas
- Process sales through the till
- Greet customers and proactively ask them if they need assistance, and refer to the Pharmacist as required
- Accept prescriptions to be dispensed
- Promote and operate our in-store TerryWhite Chemmart Health Services offering
- Always work within QCPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation
Work Type
This role is part or full time. The hours are flexible for the right person. The position includes working Saturday and 1 -2 evenings. Flexible rostering is available for the right person.
Hourly rate will be discussed with the successful candidate.
