We are seeking a full-time and a part-time, dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with prescription processing, inventory management, customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain proper storage and organization of medications and supplies
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely prescription processing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical products, industry trends, and new medications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in prescription processing
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends as required
