Atwell Community Pharmacy has a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Sales Assistant / Dispensary Assistant to join our dynamic team environment!
In this role you will assist pharmacy customers with general queries, provide excellent customer service, replenish & maintain stock and process sales in the retail store. Additional roles (applicants with Dispensary Assistant experience) will include assisting the pharmacist in providing a great customer experience, advice and education on health products, timely and relevant advice and co-ordinating the dispensary function.
Your role will focus on:
Pharmacy Assistant roles
- Customer service and advice.
- Replenishing and maintaining stock.
Dispensary Assistant roles
- Taking scripts and dispensing medications, using Corum LOTS Dispense, and assisting the Pharmacist(s) on duty in the dispensary.
- Actively assisting the pharmacist to provide service and product information.
- Organising and maintaining the cleanliness and productivity of the dispensary area.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in community pharmacy.
- Self-motivated, positive and customer focused.
- A great communicator.
- Detail oriented.
- Experienced as a Dispensary Assistant in community pharmacy is also highly desirable.
- Qualified in Certificate III in Community Pharmacy, and have completed S2/S3 Certificate as provided by the pharmacy Guild.
- Available to work every second Saturday and one night per week. Approximately 20-25 hours per fortnight. With possibly some fill-in work during the week as well.
