What you'll be doing
Organisational Development and Capability are looking for an experienced and dynamic pharmacist to join our team for this six month secondment opportunity. The role is responsible for the educational leadership, guidance and support for pharmacy staff, in collaboration with existing facility-based senior pharmacists, pharmacy managers and senior pharmacy technicians, in the Northern Sydney Local Health District.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: * Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Recent, extensive and varied post graduate clinical experience as a Hospital Pharmacist and current NSW Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including role modelling, effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in developing and delivering clinical and professional development teaching and supervision for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, interns students and allied health staff.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and to prioritise work, manage conflicting demands, monitor individual performance, problem solve and utilise independent professional judgement and adhere to deadlines.
