Pharmacy Technician Or Intern Pharmacist

A full-time position exists for an experienced and enthusiastic dispensary assistant/technician.

To be considered for an interview an applicant must have:

1. A minimum of one year dispensary assistant experience in an Australian retail or hospital pharmacy
2. Certificate 3 or 4 in Retail Pharmacy (dispensary) or completed BPharm and ready to commence intern year.
3. Exceptional communication skills
4. A positive attitude to providing friendly and professional customer service
5. A willingness to work within a large team
6. Self-motivation and initiative

Rostering can be tailored to suit the successful applicant's needs. (A part time position would be considered for the right applicant). 

Responsibilities:

As a full-time dispensary Technician (Intern), you will play a key part in our team and our ability to continue to provide the exceptional customer experience we are known for.

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries
• Administrative tasks
• Answering phones
• Purchasing and procurement services– including inventory management and stock control
• Assist in home medication packing (approx. 150 community patients)

Moorooka Amcal Pharmacy is a busy pharmacy located in the south side of Brisbane (approx. 15min drive from the CBD).

The pharmacy completed a full shop fit in 2021 which included the installation of a ROWA dispense robot.
