An exciting opportunity exists to join our Nationwide Team of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers as we expand our team.
Liaise Marketing is a retail brokerage company. We represent and service our clients’ products within Supermarkets, Department Stores, and Pharmacy, with Iconic brands.
We have a Merchandisers position in the Northern Suburbs predominantly calling on Pharmacies and some Grocery (Perth, Ellen brook, Butler).
The role is over 3 days and approximately 20 hours per week. This will involve a set weekly roster with flexibility for days it is set too. Additional hours will be available when planogram implementation or over & above work is required.
Key responsibilities
• Merchandise our client’s product range within your assigned territory.
• Check stock levels and liaise with store personnel.
• Report accurate data through an electronic device (iPad)
• Fill stock to shelves and displays (bending and lifting required).
• Negotiate off location opportunities, build and maintain displays.
• Complete layouts/planograms when allocated within your territory.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with store personnel.
• Compliance with internal store policies and company policies, including OH&S requirements.
• Meet deadlines as set by Head Office/State Manager.
• Identifying new sales opportunities.
• Tracking competitor activity.
Skills & experience
• Pharmacy/Grocery merchandising or FMCG merchandising experience necessary (minimum 6-12 months experience required).
• Experience completing planograms/relays is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills (written and verbal)
• Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
• Eye for detail
• Self-motivated with great time management skills
• Computer literate
• Proven sales & customer service skills
