They manage scenarios from accredited brokers to enhance the customer experience, maintain service level agreements, and offer coaching for submission quality improvement, thereby mitigating risks. Additionally, they build and manage mutually beneficial relationships with key community influencers, provide backup support to other regions, and manage operations to meet financial targets, including supporting brokers in regions without physical presence.In the role you will:
- Develop and expand connections with potential and existing mortgage brokers to drive business growth.
- Identify partner needs to recommend appropriate products and services for effective sales.
- Create and implement marketing and territory plans for relevant markets.
- Work with approved aggregator groups and initiate contact with partners.
- Demonstrate the advantages and value of Beyond Bank's products and services through meetings and training sessions.
- Track personal and team performance in meeting sales and activity targets.
- Utilise knowledge of the bank, market, and partners to identify opportunities, risks, and returns.
- Prioritise tasks that impact customer experience and align partners with Beyond Bank's strategies and values.
- Promote and apply good risk management practices, ensuring a positive risk culture and effective compliance management.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex information, using various methods to enhance understanding.
- Business-related degree and/or postgraduate professional qualification
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending
- Proven success in Business Development and relationship management
- Strong understanding of mortgage credit policies and processes
- Knowledge of operational, audit, and compliance requirements in a financial organization
- Previous experience dealing with mortgage brokers
- Strong skills in Business Development, sales, and lending
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate relationships
