The Role
We are seeking a dynamic professional with experience in tourism and sales, well versed in negotiating profitable agreements and exceeding revenue targets. Leveraging your industry network, you will nurture relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Your strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset will drive success, while your creative thinking will support innovative partnership opportunities and brand exposure.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximise return on investment and enhance occupancy, especially during off-peak periods.
- Provide support and guidance to strategic accounts showing potential for growth and strong returns.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively consider the systemisation of trade processes for efficiency and automation.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and willingness to have difficult conversations to deliver on commercial outcomes.
- Represent G’day Group at sales calls, industry events, and familiarisation trips.
- Actively contribute to team collaboration and collective goals.
- Provide accurate reporting on partnership activities, materialisation and campaign activations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of properties and market profiles
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tourism and sales experience with a proven track record in revenue growth and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of tourism distribution channels.
- Willingness to travel regularly for sales, training, and industry events.
- Results-focused, consistently exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Tech-native, with ability to juggle various programs.
- Ability to excel under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organised, collaborative team player.
