The PFA Lead is responsible for creating and embedding a national and consistent framework to manage the PFA Assessment process facilitated through Adecco’s agreed service provider/s.
This role leads a team of PFA Coordinators to deliver a consistent, effective and quality standard of PFAs for all ADF candidates.

Job Description
As the PFA lead, your responsibilities include leading a national team to deliver consistent, effective PFAs for all ADF candidates. You will liaise with candidates, the ADF, Contract Providers, and the broader National Recruiting Operations team to ensure an outstanding PFA experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting on PFA outcomes and associated data, analysing trends, and identifying opportunities to maximize candidate satisfaction and ADF outcomes.
You will:
- Build, implement, and actively manage a national and consistent framework to facilitate the PFA process to maximise pass rates.
- Coach, develop and mentor team-members to deliver a candidate first, high performance culture.
- Develop, review and measure a consistent, structured and successful PFA process nationally.
- Extract and share data that provides insights on PFA outcomes, key drivers and trends with recommendations to address.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders across internal DFR Teams, Contract Providers/s, The ADF and candidates to achieve recruitment targets and to collectively meet the DFR & Adecco vision, values and objectives.
- Create a culture of honesty, openness and collaboration.
- Champion a change resilient and solution mindset to support ownership and engagement across all team members
- Ensure delivery supports 100% achievement within 100 days.
- Take ownership of the PFA P&L, ensuring managed to budget and expectations.
- Lead, coach and develop direct reports to ensure delivery excellence and exceptional performance.
- Maintain industry knowledge and awareness, driven by data insights, trends, reports and measuring return on investment.
- Provide National Centre Operations Manager with regular reporting, review and updates, as required and requested, and present opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Successfully partner with Defence and subcontractors to ensure an integrated approach to target achievement.
- Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.

- Prior experience in Fitness Assessment or related fields is preferred
- Ability to adapt to evolving candidate needs and industry standards
