About the Role 

The Physiotherapy team at Monash Health has an exciting opportunity for a Grade 2 Physiotherapists to join the Primary Care Support Team, as part of the Community Assessment and Response Team. This is an ongoing part time role ( 2 days per week). 

As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will provide evidence based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients with a wide range of clinical presentations, often presenting with multiple co-morbidities. This role will also be involved in running groups. You will be part of the wider Monash Health Physiotherapy service, with access to all the benefits that offers: professional development, supervision, and broad and specialised clinical experience. You will work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.

About Us 

Primary Care Support Team, as part of the Community Assessment and Response Team (CART) offers a variety of programs that assist individuals to manage chronic health conditions, focusing on the assessment and delivery of client focused care.  This is a new service in Monash Health and an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth. The CART team consists of Allied Health Assistants, Care Coordinators, Community Development Workers, Counsellors, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, and Podiatrists. We are committed to working with communities, families and individuals providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client centred care, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health. We are looking forward to welcoming Grade 2 Physiotherapists to be part of our growth.

What you need: 

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent. 

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
