Who is Guide and what are we Guiding?Guide Healthcare is a young business with the energy and enthusiasm you would expect from a chihuahua (without the small dog syndrome) and yes that is a reference to the office puppy Sammy!
We are a passionate team of Allied Health professionals (and others shout out to our support teams!) who have decided to live out the ethos behind why we studied to do what we do, help people to improve their quality of life.
We don’t love limitations to our creativity and to the possibilities for the individuals we support so we only partner with organisations who feel the same.
Supporting some of the best humans going is what drives us to keep learning and innovating to be equally as good as they are and supporting them to improve upon or retain their unique awesomeness.
We know that every human is different and so there is no one size fits all or tick box approach to how we treat and support our patients or our Guidians (as if it wasn’t clear enough that our team are superheroes we’ve named them as such!)
Who are and what does a Guidian actually do?
We Guide… yes, it is as simple as that.
We Guide our patients and clients towards achieving their goals whether they are living in residential aged care, at home in the community or generally being legends while living with a disability.
We have a team of Physio's, OT’s, Podiatrists, Speechies, Dietitian's and EP’s who do the magic face to face (or via Telehealth when COVID gets in the way).
As well as a team supporting them from behind the scenes so they can focus on what matters!
Our Guidians focus on the individual and what they need so just as no two people are the same, neither are two days.
We like to mix it up and keep things fun and engaging with some healthy competition thrown in, which is how our cross-site comps and R.I.S.E awards kicked off!
- Have you ever seen a 88 year old compete in weightlifting?
- Someone with one leg smashing it in the long jump?
- A non-ambulant 2 assist person start walking unassisted and completing marathons through Tokyo (virtually)?
- How about a 97-years young lady thrashing the competition in a Blaze Battle?
- Groups of older adults engaging in mindfulness and meditation?

Our Guidians are what make our business what it is, so equally we want to show them how appreciated they are, so if you decide to join our team this is what you can expect:
- Full-time, Part-time, Contract or Casual employment options
- $1000Annual Continuous Professional Development Allowance*
- Salary starting at $75,000 + Super + CPD (Depending on experience)
- Annual Salary Review - up to 8%
- Additional Annual Leave Option - 1 extra week of Annual Leave per year of employment up to 4 additional weeks (8 weeks total!)!*

Canberra in our nations capital is a 3 hour drive from Sydney and home to a treasure trove of museums, festivals and galleries if feeling cultured is your thing.
Natural wonders abound in the ACT and surrounds with national parks, hike trails, lakeside living, snow fields and more on your doorstep or a short drive away for the outdoorsy among us!
Indulge in the brewpubs and foodie paradise that is ever evolving in the city with some wonderful wineries also close by.
Family friendly attractions like Questacon, Cockington Green, The Arboretum and the annual Floriade and Balloon Festivals are a must!

- Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy or APA recognised equivalent
- Full AHPRA registration - New Graduates welcome to apply!
- Current National Police Check
- Current valid drivers licence and own vehicle
- Working with Vulnerable People Check - with NDIS Clearance
- Be fully vaxxed - COVID-19 & Flu
- Be a good human - Friendly demeanour
- Love what you do - A demonstrated commitment and passion for promoting the quality of life of the elderly
